We're Susan and Ella, the dynamic duo behind Guerilla Vitamins. As mothers of 2 kids each, we've embarked on a nutrition journey fueled by the challenges of catering to picky eaters, preparing an array of meals, and overcoming the veggie aversion in our households.

Our Story: Two Moms, 5 Kids, infinite self-pity

The picky eater conundrum

Our shared journey began with a common challenge – picky eaters. Our households are a culinary melting pot or personal challenges, with little ones who turn their noses up at anything green, healthy or creative . Vegetables became the unsung heroes of our meals, and the struggle was real! They were eager to eat every day noodles, Ketchup, Fries, Burgers … and so on. Determined to nurture healthy eating habits, we delved into the world of nutrition and finding a creative way to bring the greens into our meals. Without preparing 4 different meals a day.

The neurodiversity factor

In one of our families, neurodiversity adds an extra layer of complexity to mealtime. Understanding the unique needs and preferences of a neurodiverse loved one has been a journey of patience, discovery, and adapting to their tastes. We found out that taste is essential to kids and especially to someone with neurodiversity. So we sliced vegetables into the tiniest pieces, cooked them since you weren’t able to taste and see them but honestly we knew this wasn’t possible to all meals. And most of all the nutrition was gone.

Our Mission: A Healthy Living Revolution but with the convenience of our time-intensive lives.
